Denotative-Situational Basis for Preserving Affective Components of Public Election Speech: Translatological Aspect
摘要
The study aims to describe denotative-situational peculiarities and connotative determination of intentional and saccadic elements of election speech, which define the degree of translational correspondence of affective elements in the implementation of suggestion. The most efficient translational techniques for preserving affective components formed by means of precedents, metaphorical associates, cultural and situational-temporal connotations are determined. The authors come to the conclusion that the specificity of social, cultural, territorial, economic, ideological and other differences between audiences different in linguoculture have a significant impact on the polyinterpretive space, transform basic cogitemes and affectemes, which requires taking into account the denotative-situational bases when broadcasting affectively loaded election speeches.

Translation Dominants of Fashion Industry Texts
摘要
The article presents the study of translation dominants of English-language fashion industry texts and the analysis of the techniques of their representation in the target texts. Analyzing two fashion books belonging to the instructive subtype of fashion discourse, authors identify translation dominants common to both books (informativity, dialogic interaction, expressivity of communication, communicative strategies of manipulation and self-presentation) that can potentially be extrapolated to the fashion discourse at large, as well as translation dominants typical of each book in particular (source text recipient, discourse values, interdiscoursivity, metalinguistic function of communication).

Translation Transformations of the Verbal and Nominal Domains in the Pair “Russian – Greek”
摘要
The purpose of the article is to analyze the change in the valence model in Modern Greek from
conjunctive to disjunctive as a factor causing translation transformations in the Russian-Greek pair.
The reorganization of the syntactic connection of the verbal node, as well as changes in the nominal
domain, create the prerequisites for regular translation transformations, both at the level of syntax
and at the level of lexemes and morphemes. To conduct the study, four Greek text corpora were
used, to the materials of which comparative-typological, structural-semantic, contextual and other
methods were applied.

Constructing of a Negative Image of Russia in German Multimodal Media Discourse as a Means of Influencing the Conceptual Worldview (a case study of “Der Spiegel”)
摘要
This article is devoted to the analysis of strategies for constructing a negative image of Russia in the German magazine “Der Spiegel” during the period from September 2022 to February 2025. The aim of the study is to identify the main communicative tactics used to discredit Russia in multimodal media texts. The material for the research consists of 48 publications from the magazine, in which verbal and visual elements are integrated to influence the audience. The key tactics highlighted are accusation, criminalization, catastrophization and association with fascism. It has been established that the combination of negatively connoted vocabulary with visual allusions to militarism and totalitarianism forms stereotypes that reinforce Russia’s negative image. The research results demonstrate that multimodal texts in “Der Spiegel” perform not only an informational but also an ideological function, transforming the audience’s conceptual worldview in an anti-Russian direction.

Functional Pragmatics of Factoid Within Fake Media Discourse
摘要
The study aims to describe functional and pragmatic peculiarities of a factoid as a mean of attraction and formation of a pseudo-real space for assessing in media discourse during the production of fake. Within the framework of dialectical-relational analysis, techniques for initiating mono-interpretation are determined, which create an impression of truth and verifiability of a fictional evaluation. Intentional and saccadic elements in delimiting a factoid and a fake reveal the maximization of pseudo-real locutema, chronema, communiquema for generating an actual fake, the de-objectification and deconstruction of which are possible on empirical grounds, which creates special problems of modern linguistic security. Basic techniques of factoid presentation of fake content include allusions to facts with a change in the evaluation vector, reminiscences and imitation of official language, “communicative fixation”, and hedging.

Textforming Function of Units of Sensory Perception in Artistic Discourse (based on the story by I. A. Bunin“Little Affair”)
摘要
The given research focuses on defining the role of text building component parts in the construal of plot and emotional states of the main characters of a literary work. The material of the research is presented by a story “Short affair” by I. A. Bunin. The applied method of cognitive and discursive analysis determines that the colour sensory units combined with other units of sensory perception form certain multimodal clusters thus becoming a way of describing changes in the mood of the characters via natural phenomena. As a result, the text building function of units of sensory perception predetermines the plot construal based on several lines: the characters’ emotions and feelings, changes of natural cycles, alignment of the characters’ inner state with natural phenomena.

Intertextuality from the Standpoint of a Strategic Approach in German-Language Scientific Discourse
摘要
The article is devoted to the study of intertextuality from the standpoint of a strategic approach to discourse analysis. The aim of the study is to analyze the use of intertextual inclusions in the implementation of an argumentative strategy in a German-language scientific article and the features of their linguistic design. Fragments of German-language scientific articles on linguistic topics with elements of intertextual interaction were used as empirical material. The total volume of the analyzed material is about 150 pages of printed text. The results of the study showed that intertextuality as an integral communicative-pragmatic property of scientific discourse actively participates in the implementation of an argumentative strategy in a German-language scientific article, helping the author of the scientific text to verbalize argumentative intentions at the level of tactics and tactical moves.

The Polysemy of the Title in the Novel “The Sentence” by L. Erdrich and the Difficulty of its Transmission in Translation
摘要
The article studies the realization of the polysemy of the title in the novel “The Sentence” by L. Erdrich. The material for the study was the original text of the novel and a card index of 45 contexts with the word “sentence”, compiled on its basis. The study is carried out with the help of contextual and linguistic stylistic analysis. The analysis of the text shows that initially the title performs informative (related to the main storyline of the novel) and predictive functions. But as the narrative develops, the semantics of the title word are fully revealed and they are enriched with symbolic meaning. An attempt is made to explain the impossibility of conveying all the shades of meaning of the original title in the translation text.

On Certain Phenomena of Grammatical Variation in the Dutch Language in Correlation With Speakers’ Age
摘要
The aim of this study is to examine the correlations between the use of two new, not yet widely accepted phenomena in Dutch grammar and the age of speakers. These phenomena include the question of subject-verb inversion in main clauses following a conjunctionless conditional clause and the extraction of non-prepositional sentence elements from the verbal bracket in clauses with a frame construction. The methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis were applied to empirical data collected from written sources and the SoNaR language corpus. The results of the study indicate the highest frequency of new syntactic phenomena in the speech of young people.

Conceptual Models for Constructing Narrative and Static Euphemistic Multimodal Complexes
摘要
The aim of this work is to study the models of constructing euphemistic complexes with elements of narration and static multimodal units in Internet communication. The methods of conceptual analysis, hypothetico-deductive method, definitional analysis method, and method of cultural interpretation of units are used. It is shown that the leading mechanism for constructing both narrative complexes and multimodal units not united by a one storyline is conceptual metonymy. In the first case, the most active mechanism is scenario-type metonymy, which is implemented simultaneously at the verbal and visual levels, combining two modes into a single whole. In the second case, static conceptual metonymy is the leading cognitive mechanism, the main function of which is also to construct a single euphemistic frame.

Pegasus And Adonis. Poets and Poetry of Modern Lebanon
摘要
The aim of this paper is a historical analysis of the main samples of the totality of Arabic, and French-language poetry of modern Lebanon, first of all, the poetry of great modern poet Adonis. Methodological basis of the paper is to show the general desire of the authors to establish and protect the national original essence of the ancient and modern Lebanese cultural tradition. The main results prove that the creative searches of the Arab neoclassical poets of the 20th century led to a modification of both the spiritual foundations and the aesthetic norms of a changing society. It becomes obvious that many authors sought to free the new Arabic poetry from the regulated dogmas of rigid formalism and verbal play, giving freedom to creative imagination, and inspiration.

The Poetics of Modern South Korean Healing Novels
摘要
The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the poetic features of modern South Korean healing novels as a new literary phenomenon that meets the reader’s needs for psychological and emotional healing. The paper considers Heo Taeyeon novel «Hakuda studio», Kim Yeun’s «Mysterious chocolate shop» and Lee Sunyoung’s «Botero family’s love pharmacy» as representative examples of the genre. The methodological basis of the research is the concept of M. M. Bakhtin’s chronotope, complemented by elements of narrative, motivic, and cultural-historical analysis. The study revealed the key features of the poetics of the healing novel: the importance of space (pharmacy, photo studio, pastry shop) as a symbolic place of healing, the meditative structure of the plot is based on alternating character stories, as well as central themes of love, illness, light and darkness, internal traumas and their overcoming. It is shown that the chronotope in these works does not act as a background, but as an active element of the narrative, contributing to the creation of a cozy, protected world, opposed to the pressure of modern society.

Metametaphor as a Fractal of the Universe
摘要
Metametaphora is the concept developed by the philosopher K. A. Kedrov (1942–2025) as one of the conceptual foundations of the multidimensional Universe. The purpose of the research is to understand this concept in the context of the theory of metaphor and in a historical and philosophical perspective. The article uses semiotic, comparative historical methods, as well as the method of interpretive analysis. Poems, manifestos and articles by K. A. Kedrov from different years were used as the material. The results of the study show, that metamethaphor is not only a philosophical construct, but also a deep emotional and spiritual experience of the author, expressed by him in poetry and prose. On the one hand, this construct continues to reveal new possibilities of the structuralist and post–structuralist theory of metaphor, and on the other hand, it takes metaphor to a new ontological level: from the sphere of language and culture to the laws of existence of the Earth and the universe. Poetic license allows the philosopher to be the creator of metaphor images, philosophical harmony of thought helps the poet to conceptualize the principles of its pre-existence, being and reflection.

The Works of V. V. Nabokov: About the Question of Perception of Cultural Texts
摘要
The aim of the study is to identify the features of V. Nabokov’s artistic picture of the world in the context of the concept of psychoculture. To this end, the prose and poetry of the author are considered, as well as scientific works devoted to this problem. V. Nabokov remains a controversial figure in the history of literature and culture. This fact is connected with the plot lines, both in the fate of the author and in the fate of the heroes of his works of art. To this day, there remains a polarity in the perception of the writer’s prose and poetic legacy. The article examines the texts of V. Nabokov in the context of the “psychoculture”. The research involves interdisciplinary approaches that allow the author to approach a holistic understanding of this concept.
