Аннотация

The aim of this paper is a historical analysis of the main samples of the totality of Arabic, and French-language poetry of modern Lebanon, first of all, the poetry of great modern poet Adonis. Methodological basis of the paper is to show the general desire of the authors to establish and protect the national original essence of the ancient and modern Lebanese cultural tradition. The main results prove that the creative searches of the Arab neoclassical poets of the 20th century led to a modification of both the spiritual foundations and the aesthetic norms of a changing society. It becomes obvious that many authors sought to free the new Arabic poetry from the regulated dogmas of rigid formalism and verbal play, giving freedom to creative imagination, and inspiration.
