Representation of Health as a Value in French Social Advertising
Abstract
The article is devoted to the representation of health as a basic value based on the material of social advertising. Advertising discourse in general and the discourse of social advertising in particular are considered, on the one hand, as repeaters of existing values, and on the other hand, as carriers and popularizers of values. The value of “health” is represented in social advertising as a complex of its most significant aspects: giving up bad habits, preventing diseases, mental health, and children’s health.

On the Complexity of Differentiation of Languages and Their Dialects (based on the Mongolian language area)
Abstract
The article presents some findings of the research into Mongolian dialects carried out over a century, with a primary focus on their classification, as well as the challenges associated with defining their boundaries. The study offers an analytical study of the statements of leading scientists in this field, including Sh. Luvsanvandan, B.Ya. Vladimirtsov, and N. Poppe and others. Despite the disputes and uncertainty concerning the differentiation of Mongolian dialects, the Khalkha dialect is considered to be the literary norm of modern Mongolian, and its study using modern research methods remains relevant for oriental studies.

Applied Linguopragmatics: Semantic Orbit Dictionaries
Abstract
The article describes the concept and technology for implementing a new mechanism to optimize linguopragmatic impact on target audiences. The essence of the method is to conduct an associative experiment among subjects belonging to a predetermined target group, during which all associations perceived with a certain word are discovered. Statistical processing of the results provides an opportunity to gather data on the probability of a certain association being invoked among the representatives of a said group when subjected to a specific word and modify texts through the application of linguopragmatics to achieve the desired impact by means of suggesting certain associations both intentionally and implicitly.

Modern Corpus Linguistics: Trends and Prospects
Abstract
The article contains an analysis of the state of modern corpus linguistics in order to identify current trends and prospects for development. For this purpose, an array of scientific publications (230 articles and 50 dissertations) published no earlier than 2019 and devoted to linguistic corpora was collected; then the method of sequential clustering was applied, the results of which were statistically analyzed and subsequently interpreted.

Features of French Theatrical Pronunciation (comparative analysis)
Abstract
The article is a description of main phonetic features of theatrical pronunciation in French. An experimental phonetic study based on audit and comparative analyses revealed similarities and differences in the sound representation of plays created at different times. The main parameters of both the segmental level (pronunciation of a number of vowels and semi-vowels, the pronunciation of [ə] mute, the lengthening of consonant sounds, realization of liaison) and the prosodic level (timbre, melody, additional stress, pause) were considered, as well as their influence on the perception of the sounding text.

Studying Means of Speech Aggression in Brazilian Telegram Channels during the Governmental Crisis in 2022–2023
Abstract
The article discusses the new Social Media verbal aggression identification problem. The authors analyze the verbal and non-verbal content of Telegram Messenger channels disseminating information about events related to the political crisis in Brazil in late 2022 - early 2023 and propose a classification of the means of the verbal aggression as well as approaches to their translation and interpretation. The problem described in the article is of particular importance in the context of the increasing role of the so-called new media and modern informational confrontation and the transformation of information and cognitive space into the operational domains.

Abstract
The article examines the key representative of the linguocultural type “teacher” and its synonymous series, establishes the nominative field of the type, identifies the principles of differentiation of the core and periphery of the field, describes the conceptual components of the type, based on the material of lexicographic sources and media texts placed in Chinese language corpora. The article uses the interpretive method, the method of semantic analysis and contextual descriptive analysis.

Crusader Coat of Arms Mottos as a Special Type of Medieval Creolized Text
Abstract
Based on the material of the mottos of the Knights of the Crusades era, the article examines the specifics of the coat of arms mottos as a special type of medieval creolized text that combines culturally significant verbal and non-verbal information. Their structure, functions, meaning and role in the surrounding society are considered. The mottos of the military monastic Orders of the Hospitallers, Templars, infirmaries, the Teutonic Order and the Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem have been studied as a special phenomenon of the Middle Ages from the standpoint of linguistics and linguoculturology.

The article discusses means of pragmalinguistical impact on cases of cancel culture, i. e. general accountability of public persons for their statements and actions. With content analysis, case studies and experiments as well as discourse study on mass media and online apologies the author entertains the possibility to control the process of “cancelling” with a view to both mitigate and exacerbate it.

Semiotic Foundations of Text Decoding Rhetoric
Abstract
The article presents the semiotic foundations of decoding rhetoric, which is the concept of the reconstruction of text formation mechanisms in the focus of evaluating their effectiveness. The key concept of the study is the rhetorical text type as a prototype of an effective text, acting in the semiotic functions of the code and metacode as a decoding tool. The sign situation of decoding rhetoric and its components are described. The metasemiotic nature of text decoding rhetoric is revealed.

Stylistic and Grammatical Features of Medieval Latin Poetry of Vagants
Abstract
The article considers the poetry of vagants as a special phenomenon along with other trends of medieval lyrics of the 12th-13th centuries. The main difference between vagant poetry and other genres is that it was originally written in Latin. The social position of the vagants is reflected in the thematic complex of their works: particular ethical views, opposition to the official church and glorification of the freedom of the spirit. The genre and style of vagant poetry, its main themes, the influence of colloquial Latin on the orthography and morphology of the language of vagant poetry are analysed in the paper.

The Semantics of the Aspect Passive Constructions with the Copula “оставаться” (remain)
Abstract
The aim of the investigation is to describe the semantics of the structure «remain + past participle» as an aspect modification of the passive construction with the meaning of continuation. The research is performed on the basis of text-corpus data, along with the contrastive analysis applied to the results of preceding studies in English and German. The result of the analysis: several semantic groups of past participle tending to interact with the copula «remain» are established. The urgency of the investigation: aspect copula verbs remain little-studied as operators of the modification of the be-passive.

Abstract
Pour la première fois, la question de la définition des scripts culturels est soulevée en tant que la suite du développement des recherches sur la théorie des scripts des textes médiévaux, entreprises par N. A. Katagoshchina et L. A. Stanova. L'exploitation d'un ensemble de méthodes d'analyse (méthode des définitions lexicographiques, l'analyse étymologique, l'analyse linguistique et culturologique) a permis d'établir la structure sémantique des cultures linguistiques étrangères: russe, française et iranienne. Les résultats obtenus lors des recherches seront utilisés dans les cours de lexicologie, de linguistique générale, de communication interculturelle, de typologie comparative.

Perception of Folk Song Melody as a Result of Mental Code Operation
Abstract
Deep interrelation between folk music and language is determined by cognitive mechanisms, which are identified indirectly by means of psycholinguistic methods. The study is based on ancient folk songs. The data obtained by perception analysis suggest that Russian musicians should have common mental codes to identify some native, nationally-specific features in the tone movement, as well as to perceive and identify the emotive meanings of native vocal speech.

Self-Reference in Female Discourse of the Early 17th Century: “Apology for the Woman Writing” Marie de Gournay
Abstract
The article considers the linguistic status of self-reference on the example of Marie de Gournay’s apology treatise defined as female discourse which was penned by an original female author of the early 17th century. It analyses socio-pragmatic grounds of the presence of the author in the text and pays special attention to the semantic-pragmatic potential of explicit self-referential predications which bend the logical structure of apologetics and form the author’s “I” in androcentric society.

Comparative Analysis of Pragmatic Connectors (on the example of French connectors with the meaning of summary, explication, generalization, conclusion, ending)
Abstract
The article is devoted to the functioning of discursive connectors of close semantics in the French language. The relevance of the analysis is due to the fact that students experience difficulties in their differentiation, without having consistent information about it in scientific and reference materials. The analysis is based on the protocols of the European parliamentary debates; it clarifies the meaning of some connectors and shows the presence of peripheral, contextually conditioned meanings in them, due to which their functional and semantic fields intersect.

Planned Indirect Communication as a Way of Programming Interpretation of Meanings in American Political Discourse (based on the inaugural speeches of US presidents)
Abstract
The article is devoted to indirect communication strategies that require further interpretation of the inaugural addresses of the US presidents of the 21st century. Being the task of the recipient, the process of interpretation becomes an act of co-creation and adopts a strategic role in American political discourse. The cognitive-interpretive approach to the investigation into indirect communication means allowed us to determine that they are used as a method of programming the recipient’s interpretation in the way necessary for the author.

Colombian Sociolect Parlache in Song Reggaeton Discourse: Lexical and Functional Features
Abstract
The article is dedicated to a recently discovered linguistic phenomenon - the parlache sociolect of the national Colombian variant of the Spanish language. Parlache is considered in synergy with another phenomenon of the modern youth culture of Colombia - the musical genre of reggaeton, the song discourse of which is built on the basis of parlache. The authors analyze the main word-building models of parlache, its sociolectic and discursive functions based on the songs of the Colombian author and performer Maluma.

Latin Certificates of Authenticity for Relics: History, Text, Translation
Abstract
Relic Certificates of Authenticity is a document containing information about a relic and confirming its authenticity. Such papers, traditionally drawn up in Latin, are a unique example of a mixture of the official style of the Latin language of the New Time, which was used in Western Europe in the field of office work, and Ecclesiastical Latin. The relevance of the topic is related to the importance of studying certificates both for translation into Russian, which is required to certify this document in order to verify the authenticity of the relics, and to obtain information about the saints and the cult of their veneration.

On Intermediality in the Works of Pascal Quignard
Abstract
In this article, the author analyzes the phenomenon of intermediality and its manifestations in the works of the modern French writer Pascal Quignard. The work describes the origins of intermediality in Quignard’s work, as well as various plans of expression of intermediality (the plan of content, the plan of composition, ekphrasis, the plan of philosophical perception). The study also focuses on the concept of ekphrasis, its definition and possible classifications and analyzes examples from the works of this modern French writer. Special attention is also paid to the significance of music for Pascal Quignard and the plots and compositions of his works.

On the Problem of Digitalization of Contemporary Art
Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of using artificial intelligence as a tool for creating works of art. The author comes to the conclusion that the development of the functionality of a neural network inevitably gives rise to questions that require further analysis and study: the authorship of products, their artistic and semantic value, the possibility of abusing technologies in order to enhance the manipulative power of art, and most importantly, the education of a person and the formation of a system of values in him. The substantiation of the above issues is based on the elements of the methodology of synergistic, environmental and systemic approaches.

Key Features in the Formation of Russian and Latin American Civilizational Identity
Abstract
In the article, the author examines the specifics of the formation and development of the Russian and Latin American civilizational identity. After the conducted research, the author comes to the conclusion that in the course of the historical process, both distinctive and similar features were formed in both civilizations. Both civilizations, both Russian and Latin American, may belong to the so-called “borderline types of civilization”, which caused them in certain areas to have similar historical development and future fate.
