Principles of Teaching English to Future Audio Describers at a Linguistic University
Resumo
The article deals with the principles of teaching, on the basis of which the foreign language training of future audio describers should be carried out at a linguistic university. The author comments on the application of traditional teaching principles while training future audio describers and new principles relevant to the teaching of English language skills to audio describers.



Implementation of the Concept of “Dialogue on Equal Terms” at the University
Resumo
The paper attempts to describe ways of establishing and conducting “dialogue on equal terms”, which means the implementation of sociocultural interaction in a professional environment between representatives of different generations. This strategy makes it possible to level out sociocultural differences that impede the solution of professional problems in an institutional environment, creates conditions for corporate cooperation and at the same time contributes to the creation and development of professional culture.



The Concept of a Textbook in Professional Communication: Integrative Foundations of MA Students Training
Resumo
The article presents a concept of a textbook in professional communication in the field of linguistics, linguodidactics and foreign languages teaching. The concept is based on integration of communicative and competence approaches to teaching, the textbook is structured with regard to the thematic, methodological and didactic principles, thus contributing to the development of AM students’ communication skills in academic environment and introducing them to language teaching methods.



Apperception in Cognitive Perception of English Converted Verbs
Resumo
The article gives a detailed description of the most frequently used pattern in English - noun-verb conversion and the influence of apperception in the cognitive perception of converted verbs and their interpretation in Russian. The authors also formulated a number of teaching recommendations aimed at improving students’ skills to translate special texts.



The Practice of Using the “Flipped Classroom” Technology in Teaching a Foreign Language
Resumo
The article examines the pedagogical technology “flipped classroom” as a means of teaching a foreign language and describes the practical experience of its application. Particular attention is paid to the advantages of “flipped classroom”, and the difficulties encountered by students and the teacher are also analyzed. The article emphasizes the importance of language authenticity in the preparatory phase, as well as the development of independence, motivation and an increase in students’ speaking time during the face-to-face phase of the lesson.



Educational Neuroscience in a Transdisciplinary Dimension

The study of human cognitive abilities through the prism of naturalistic and culture-centric foundations justifies the advisability of including neuroeducation in the transdisciplinary locus of brain research. The purpose of the article is to show how the transdisciplinary revolution affected educational technologies and how modern neuroscience interpreted the key problems of education, as well as to identify the interface between the learning process and artistic cognitive practice.

This scientific article explores the integration of a specialized vocabulary database into English language tailored courses for the construction sector. The development and implementation of this database are examined, along with its implications in institutional educational virtual environments. By addressing the specific linguistic needs of construction professionals and leveraging immersive virtual learning platforms, educators can enhance language learning outcomes and bridge communication gaps in construction-related contexts.



On the issue of Developing a Context-Based Textbook for a Vocationally-Oriented Type of School (Humanitarian and Philological Profile)

The article justifies the need to develop a context-based textbook for the senior stage of a vocationally-oriented type of school. The textbook is based on a socially-oriented model of learning within the framework of the theory of context-based education, the possibility of using which is justified at the school level. The basic requirements for a context-based textbook for the humanitarian and philological profile and an approximate model of its organization are proposed.



Updating Teaching Materials to Enhance the Language Acquisition for 1st Year Students of Technical Universities
Resumo
The dynamics of the educational environment constantly requires revising and updating teaching materials. The aim of this research is to describe and analyze integration steps of the novel teaching materials for the English programme for the bachelor students of technical university, the level B1+ / B2. The main goals are the following: students’ expectations are to be analysed, teachers and students are to take part in the questionnaire, upon teaching - adapt and modify the studying materials. The basic method is opinion poll.



Methodical Features of Teaching Written Speech in a Multinational Language Environment

The article discusses the methodological features of teaching writing in a multinational language environment. The relevance of the problem of teaching a foreign language to representatives of national groups is substantiated. The principles of teaching a certain type of speech activity are determined. Two main approaches to teaching writing have been identified. The methodological features of presenting a written assignment are determined. Criteria for assessing the effectiveness of writing a written message are presented.



Content Variability for the Functioning of the Career Development Center in a Higher Education Establishment

Constant structural changes on the labor market and the dynamics of professional environments determine the need to form the readiness of a modern specialist to correlate professional development with the changing socio-economic context. Psychological and pedagogical support for the formation and development of a career is needed. Career-shaping training, which relies on a multidimensional understanding of the career movement, provides such support. Career Development Center at the university implements the ideas of such career education ideas in various formats, ensuring the readiness of a young specialist to develop personally and professionally in a chosen professional activity.



The Teacher’s Communicative Style and Its Influence on the Approach to Evaluation and Correction in the Foreign Language Classroom

The article looks at the valuable characteristics of Bodalev’s classification of the teachers’ communicative styles and sums up the results of testing foreign language teachers for their communicative styles and distinct features of their approach to evaluation and correction. The testing conducted contributed to the description of the most efficient teaching style in terms of evaluation and correction done by the teacher in the foreign language classroom.



Подготовка будущих преподавателей иностранного языка к работе в академически неоднородных группах

The purpose of the article is to explore teacher-training issues related to the challenges of teaching mixed-ability groups. The author suggests using role plays for the sake of training future foreign language teachers with a view to enhancing the effectiveness of teacher development and of foreign language acquisition. The article offers sample vocationally-oriented role plays and teaching recommendations which could help improve the efficiency of teacher training as well as the quality of the foreign language classroom.



Individual Work as an Optimizing Factor in Foreign Language Learning (Socio-Political Sciences)

The article is devoted to the role of individual work in teaching foreign languages to students of political sciences. The authors substantiate the significance of individual work in the process of optimizing foreign-language professionally oriented education and in the formation of skills relevant to foreign-language political discourse, and emphasize the importance of the effective structuring of individual work. In this regard, a roadmap based on the method of algorithmization of individual work is proposed.



Theoretical Prerequisites for Forming Intellectual Skills in Training Foreign Languages in Higher Education System

The article presents theoretical prerequisites for forming intellectual skills of students through the development of their thinking while studying foreign languages. A number of problems have been identified in the system of higher education, indicating the insufficient formation of the above mentioned skills, which will have a negative impact on future professional activity. To solve them, the author suggests using professionally oriented cases.

Developing of Observation Skills of Psychologists and Educational Psychologists in the Process of Professional Training
Resumo
The article deals with the influence of various forms of organizing the monitoring of the development of students’ observation skills regarding psychologists and educational psychologists in the process of professional training. It is shown that observation skills develop better during group observation of one’s own behavior, carried out at the end of the training. The findings allow us to develop more effective professional training that develops psychological observation skills.



Features of Egocentrism among Students of the Comedy Improvisation School
Resumo
The article examines egocentrism in the form of self-focus among students of the comedy improvisation school. The indicators of egocentrism, coping strategy and willingness to cooperate of successful and unsuccessful improvisational students were revealed through observation and content analysis of video recordings of classes. It has been established that successful improvising students have average levels of egocentrism, are characterized by willingness to cooperate and constructive coping strategies.



Egocentrism of Bilingual Students during Testing in the Kyrgyz and Russian Languages
Resumo
The article presents the results of testing egocentrism in the Russian and Kyrgyz languages of bilingual students studying at universities in Bishkek. The study included questionnaires, expert assessment of the subjects' proficiency in the Kyrgyz and Russian languages and the test of egocentric associations in these two languages. The correlation of subjects' egocentrism values was confirmed when testing in the Kyrgyz and Russian languages, and their values were found to be lower when testing in Kyrgyz.

This article examines the structure and content of property rights in modern Russian legislation, their relationship with the concept and civil law regime of property. The main focus of the work is on property rights, their formation at various stages of the development of Russian and Soviet law. The problems of reforming the institute of property law, issues of scientific discussion about the pace of proposed changes, substantive shortcomings and contradictions of the draft law are touched upon.



Anti-corruption Potential in the System of Social Functions
Resumo
The article examines the concept and structure of the anti-corruption potential of society, the factors of its dynamics, the genesis of anti-corruption practice, the influence of socio-political organization of society on the effectiveness of the fight against corruption. The identification of qualitative and quantitative parameters of the anti-corruption potential is a tool for predicting the prospects for the development of corruption in the country and the formation of a program to counter it.



The Issues of Ensuring Economic Security of the Russian Federation

The article discusses the issues of legal regulation of ensuring the economic security of the Russian Federation, analyzes the concepts of "national security" and "economic security," and reveals their essential characteristics. The current state of economic crime in the aspect of existing threats to Russia’s security is considered.
