Methodological Foundations of the Polyperspective Model-invariant of Pedagogical Interaction
Resumo
The article presents the methodological foundations of the invariant model of pedagogical interaction in the educational space of a modern university. After analyzing the structural and functional characteristics of pedagogical interaction models, the strengths and potential limitations of their application were identified. The principles of creating a promising polyperspective model that promotes the harmonization of the educational process at the university are substantiated.



Tailoring Language Lab Software for Interpreter Training
Resumo
The article expands on ways to tailor computer-powered language labs for interpreter training. The researchers note that modern tools in the category have been pursuing the path of encompassing a wide range of subjects, e. g. math, physics, etc., rather than honing original language training instruments. This triggered an endeavor to develop a full-fledged application to boost the potential of modern language lab suites from the perspectives of interpreters. Other results include recommendations for preparing tasks based on AI solutions and modern audio/video editors, as well as analyzing recordings.



Methodology of Developing Foreign Language Lexical Competence on the Basis of Illustrative Bilingual Terminological Dictionaries for Students-Non-Linguists
Resumo
The article is dedicated to developing non-linguists’ foreign language lexical competence on the basis of illustrative terminological dictionaries. Lexicographic, lexical and lexico-cognitive skills of working with foreign language terminological dictionaries are specified. The author introduces a methodology of teaching professional vocabulary to non-linguists using an illustrative bilingual terminology dictionary.



Individualization Resources in Developing Students’ Oral Foreign Language Communication in the “Rotational Model of Blended Learning”
Resumo
The characteristics of the model of station rotation as a way of organizing learning that promotes individualization are revealed. Different formats of blended learning and their characteristics are considered. The essence of the concept of “station rotation” from the point of view of organizational-activity and event-based approaches in the Russian-language pedagogical discourse is clarified. The pilot experiment and its results are described. The resources of individualization are defined and systematized. The experience of organizing the individualized format of teaching foreign language communication in the professional context exemplified by four training posts is presented.



Developing Professional Foreign Language Competence: Technologies of a Blended Multi-Resource Educational Environment
Resumo
The paper presents the findings of an experimental study on the development of a professionally oriented foreign language blended multi-resource educational environment. It proposes didactic principles that integrate physical and digital environments and their resources into foreign language education. The results of the study highlight the effectiveness of this approach in enhancing students' foreign language communicative competence, critical thinking, digital literacy, and scientific communication skills.



The Use of Messengers in Teaching English
Resumo
The article considers the relevance of using messengers in English language teaching. A review of scientific literature reveals the gaps in the theoretical justifications for the integration of Internet resources into the teaching process. It is essential to substantiate the principles of selecting the content of teaching, the methods and the format for introducing resources into the teaching process. The effectiveness of using messengers for teaching purposes is demonstrated via the integration of the Telegram channel into the educational process of the Ulyanovsk Civil Aviation Institute.



Developing Lexical Competence while Teaching Listening to Future Interpreters

The paper considers the development of lexical competence of undergraduate students-future translators and interpreters. The paper presents research review on the subject, specifies the definition of lexical competence in teaching future interpreters. The author examines the factors determining the peculiarities of developing lexical competence when teaching listening, focuses on the stages of competence development and introduces some examples of exercise instructions.



Cognitive Сompetence as the Key Goal of Vocationally Oriented Language Teaching (socio-political sciences)

The paper deals with a comprehensive coverage of cognitive competence as a methodological concept in the sphere of vocationally oriented foreign language teaching of students in socio-political sciences. The authors define cognitive competence, prove its importance for the future professional activity, give an outline of strategies and algorithms of teaching cognitive competence, describe the innovative methods of forming cognitive competence at the Department of Linguistics and Political Communications in Moscow State Linguistic University.



Foreign Language Teachers’ Professional Discourse as a Tool of Simulating Authentic Situational Contexts in the Foreign Language Classroom

The article looks at the role of foreign language teachers’ discourse in modeling life-like situational contexts, analyses the functions and features of teacher-student interaction as well as generalizes about some typical mistakes committed by teacher-trainees and by newly-qualified teachers of foreign languages in the foreign language classroom.



Empirical Studies of the Problems of Technologically Organizing Development of Pediatric Students’ Intellectual Skills in Teaching Foreign Languages

The article presents empirical studies of the problems of technologically organizing development of intellectual skills in the classes of foreign language students studying in the specialty "Pediatrics." The study revealed that consistent use of group of methods, such as problem setting and problem solving method, analysis of specific situations / cases during function role play improves the quality of students’ foreign language training.



Strategies of Expressing Feedback in the Speech of English Teachers: Comparative Aspect

The article deals with strategies that English teachers use to react to students’ words during online lessons for adults. The author analyzed transcripts of video lesson recordings using observation, classification and comparison methods. As a result, strategies were identified that allow teachers from two different cultures to offer feedback.

Egocentrism and Academic Performance of Linguistic University Students
Resumo
The article presents the research results of the egocentrism in linguistic university students, their communicative inclinations and academic performance. During the study questionnaire methods, a projective test of egocentric associations, a questionnaire of communicative aptitudes, and indicators of academic performance were used. Statistical processing of the data made it possible to establish a inverse relationship between the magnitude of egocentrism and the magnitude of indicators of communicative inclinations and indicators of students performance.



The Relation between Problematic Social Media Use and Narcissistic Personality Traits
Resumo
The article presents the results of the research aimed at identifying the relation between problematic social media use and narcissistic personality traits in senior schoolchildren. 122 schoolchildren aged 15-18 participated in the research. Based on the research results, it was concluded that problematic social media use is directly related to envy feeling, expectation of special treatment, preoccupation with fantasies of one’s fame, and the need for constant attention and admiration.

Organizing Labor Activity of Convicted Women while Serving their Criminal Sentence in the Form of Imprisonment
Resumo
The article examines the specifics of organizing labor activity of convicted women in correctional institutions. The author identifies the problems faced by convicted women during the period of the formation of penal enforcement legislation. The use of general scientific, private scientific, as well as private legal research methods made it possible to track changes in the status of women as labor units and conclude that there has been a significant advance in penal enforcement policy towards humanization.



The Impact of the “Right to Regulate” Doctrine on the Legal Personality of States and Non-State Actors in International Construction Contract Law

The article is dedicated to the examination of the impact of the doctrine of the “right to regulate” on the legal personality of states and non-state actors in international construction contract law. It explores issues related to the balance of sovereign rights and corporate interests, analyzing judicial practice. Based on the findings of the research, the legal consequences of applying the “right to regulate” in the regulation of international contracts are identified.

The article examines the doctrinal views and regulatory legal acts related to decision-making on the establishment of legal entities. Provisions on decisions in the form of a protocol, contract or other document are analyzed. For discussion and future research some proposals are formulated to improve the current legislation.



The Criminal Legal Status of the Unborn Child in Russia
Resumo
The legal status of the unborn child has not been determined in Russia. In this regard the problem arises of the legitimacy of artificial termination of pregnancy, the criminal qualification of crimes against life and health, the statement of extreme necessity or reasonable risk. Based on comparative legal research, it is concluded that it is necessary to approve the status of an unborn child in Russian legislation, taking into account the development of modern medicine.



Modern Opportunities of Forensic Psychological Examination (exemplified by the investigation of minor and moderate crimes committed against minors)
Resumo
The article analyzes modern opportunities of forensic psychological examination in the investigation of minor and moderate crimes committed against minors. The paper focuses on the legal grounds for the appointment of a forensic psychological examination in relation to persons who have committed crimes of minor and moderate severity against minors. The relevance of the focus on the above-mentioned category of victims is due to the high degree of public danger of committing crimes against these persons.
