Abstract
The purpose of the article is to clarify communicative, persuasive and suggestive peculiarities of a political discourse in the conditions of an information-psychological warfare on current examples of verbal and multimodal texts. The article applies descriptive, synchronic and functional methods, as well as methods of metaphorical modeling, component, contextual and communicative-pragmatic analysis.
