Abstract
The research problem is to establish the typological differences between the Chinese and Russian languages. Research methods: comparative method, methods of linguistic description, analysis and synthesis, methods of abstraction and generalization. The material of the study was theoretical works in the field of typology, as well as speech material from the corpora of Chinese and Russian languages. As a result, typological differences were established between these languages in functional, structural and quantitative aspects.
