Abstract
A retrospective clinical and morphological study of 534 "epithelial" ovarian tumors showed that taking into account anamnestic data on dyshormonal processes, gynecological and general somatic diseases is of great importance for their early diagnosis. A definite dependence of the nature and form of growth of "epithelial" tumors of female gonads on the histological type was revealed. It was found that the frequency of ovarian cancer metastasis is in direct proportion to the age of patients, the extent of the tumor, its macro- and microscopic characteristics.
