The aim of the research is to show fragments of regional subjective axiology, identifying the strategies used in responding to stimuli in binary oppositional relations – ‘good / evil’, ‘true / false’. A free association experiment conducted in 2023–2024 with students of Omsk schools and gymnasiums aged 12–14 was used to achieve it. The results were summarized in the form of an associative field. The tool for analyzing the associative field is the concept of “speech act”, which made it possible to identify the following semantization strategies: actualization of paradigmatic relations, personal, professional or social subjectivization, objectification, attribution, evaluation, individual-associative correlation.

The paper is devoted to identifying the degree of significance and psychologically relevant content of the value of “love”. The study is based on a specially designed complex experimental procedure which includes a survey, ranking and a free association test. According to the survey, love is the third basic value in the list of 35 names. The ranking experiment revealed the importance of the value of “love” and confirmed the reliability and validity of the survey results. Analyzing the predication features and the probability of producing speech actions in the association fields of love obtained in the studied cities we came to the conclusion about the relevance of the predication feature “subjects and objects of love” and the convergence in the content of such values as “love” and “family” in the minds of Russians.

The article presents an analysis of interpersonal pragmatics as a burgeoning field of pragmatic research. The present paper covers the status of interpersonal pragmatics, its methodological foundations, methods and the conceptual apparatus. The author highlights such features of modern research into communicative behaviour as the expansion of the object of research, the use of discourse analysis and recourse to interactionism as the theoretical foundation. The new approach accentuates intersubjectivity in the process of meaning formation and the construction of interpersonal relations, and reveals the multidirectional and multifunctional character of speech acts.

The article examines the concept of pragmatic identity in Chinese linguistic pragmatics as applied to the analysis of academic discourse. It identifies similarities and differences in the strategies of identity construction used by reviewers in two linguocultural traditions. The study is based on 80 reviews in Russian and Chinese. The methods of linguistic-pragmatic and discourse analysis were employed. The results indicate that the identities of “work presenter” and “evaluator” dominate in both languages. Positive evaluation prevails, while negative criticism is mitigated, reflecting the dominance of the “benevolent evaluator” identity. The “modest expert” identity is prominent in Chinese reviews, reflecting cultural norms of politeness, whereas the “recommending reviewer” identity is characteristic of Russian-language reviews.

The article analyzes the purist movements of the XVII–XX centuries in Europe. The relevance of
the study is connected with the constant interest of any society to the language of its country, to its defense against alien elements. The author makes an attempt to generalize the ideas of purism and their practical implementation as a set of discursive practices (as interpreted by M. Foucault), which allows us to consider purism as a linguistic phenomenon that has its own regularities of development and implementation. This generalization can initiate a fundamental study of purism as a multifaceted phenomenon, which can be based on the method of narrative lingvo-historiography.

This article analyzes the concept of margaash in the Mongolian linguistic worldview. It examines its structure, semantic features, and cognitive mechanisms that shape its polysemy. Special attention is given to the core meaning of margaash as a temporal reference, its peripheral interpretations associated with the uncertainty of the future and the postponement of events, as well as its interaction with other temporal categories of the Mongolian language. The study is based on lexicographic sources, examples from Mongolian speech, and cultural contexts, which allow for identifying its philosophical and pragmatic significance. The obtained results contribute to a deeper understanding of the Mongolian conceptualization of time and broaden perspectives on the variation of temporal concepts across languages.

The paper explores the role of colour sign in a work of fiction and its conveying in cross-cultural communication. In the process of translation between Japanese and Russian the sense interpretation is achieved through the cognitive translation of the context. The paper’s objectives are to give the way how to understand the Japanese character meaning in a colour terms. Unlike a letter of the alphabet, a character has its own meaning. There is a synonymy of characters, which significantly enhances the synonymy of the Japanese language vocabulary. When choosing an equivalent in Russian to translate a Japanese word, when choosing an equivalent in Russian to translate a Japanese word, the analysis of the characters that make up this word is of great importance. In practice this stands for conveying sense of colour sign in the linguistic picture of the traditional culture.

The stages of evolution of Schiller’s theatre from The “Robbers” (1781) to “Mary Stuart” (1800) reflected the playwright’s deepening understanding of the dialectical unity of opposites between subjective intentions and objective results. The striker’s nobility of Karl Moor was disgraced by the criminal robbery of the Bohemian robbers of Spiegelberg. The English queen’s sincere desire to be guided by humanistic ideas about justice and to save the life of Mary Stuart was disavowed by the need to preserve the integrity of the state, which forced Elizabeth I to approve the death sentence passed by Parliament on the Scottish queen.

The purpose of the publication is to study the creative achievements of Soviet architects during the Great Patriotic War. The methodological basis of the research is a complex of general scientific and special historical methods. The study was carried out on the basis of a problem-historical analysis, taking into account the social conditions of that time. The retrospective method, which evaluates events in their historical development, played an important role. The results of the study show that Soviet architects made an invaluable contribution to military defense construction, the construction of numerous evacuated and new industrial enterprises in the East during the Great Patriotic War, and the restoration of cities destroyed by war.
