Аннотация
Статья посвящена развитию английской королевской армии при Карле II. В работе рассмотрен аспект комплектации армии в условия англо-голландских войн 1660-1670-х гг. Показано взаимодействие систем мобилизации военных ресурсов в условиях нехватки денег и противодействия общественного мнения. Результатами исследования данного аспекта стал вывод о том, что Корона могла использовать полевую армию, по преимуществу набранную из милиционеров в ограниченных ситуациях. Подобный подход стал давать сбои по мере развития регулярных войск на континенте, который стал полем боя для английской армии в конце XVII столетия.
