Аннотация

В данной статье рассматриваются методы и способы регулирования городского водоснабжения в Англии в конце XV – начале XVII вв., как одного из важнейших аспектов развития коммунальной инфраструктуры. Изменения, произошедшие в области системы водоснабжения в эпоху династии Тюдоров, по новому затрагивают вопрос о роли и месте муниципальных властей в становлении коммунального хозяйства.
