Abstract
Baeyer–Villiger oxidation of N1,N3,2-triaryl-6-hydroxy-6-methyl-4-oxocyclohexane-1,3-dicarboxamides with 30% hydrogen peroxide in acetic acid afforded 2-(4-aryl-3-carbamoyl-2-methyl-5-oxooxolan-2-yl)acetic acids.
