Crystal Structures of Two Luminescent Mononuclear and dinuclear cyclopalladated 2-(4-Ethylphenyl)pyrazine complexes

Two mononuclear and dinuclear cyclopalladated 2-(4-ethylphenyl)pyrazine (epp) complexes 2 and 3 are prepared in the bridge-splitting reactions of palladacyclic dimer 1 with PPh₃ (2) and 1,4- bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (dppb) (3). Their crystal and molecular structures are determined by the single crystal X-ray analysis. C–H⋯N(Cl) hydrogen bonds and π⋯π interactions are found in the the crystals.
