Abstract
We carried out a clinical and histological examination of 592 patients with trophic and late radiation ulcers; malignancy was detected in 11 of them - in 1 sarcoma and in 10 - cancer. Of the total number of patients with late radiation ulcers, malignancy was found in 7, which was 7.07% of observations; in patients with ulcers of other genesis, malignancy was established in 0.6%.
