The main focus is on presenting current ideas in the field of philosophical knowledge in the analytical tradition, a new understanding of the modes of existence of philosophy and its history, the results of socio-philosophical, sociological and legal studies of modern processes of social development in Russia and abroad, problems of migration and reproduction of the population

The journal is aimed at developing active and effective communications within the scientific and professional community, creating an interdisciplinary platform for open discussion.

One of the missions of the journal is to strengthen the intellectual space of Siberia, supporting the scientific schools of analytical philosophy, philosophical classical studies, ethnosociology that have developed in the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

On 25.04.2023, the journal was included in the LIST of peer-reviewed scientific publications (by the Higher Attestation Commission), in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of candidate of sciences, for the degree of doctor of sciences in the following specialties should be published:

The editorial policy of the journal is based on the traditional ethical principles of scientific periodicals developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for editors, reviewers and authors. The editorial board of the journal is guided by the principles of scientificity, objectivity, professionalism and impartiality.

The publication reviews materials submitted to the editorial board that correspond to the subject matter of the journal for the purpose of their expert assessment. All reviewers are recognized experts in the subject matter of the reviewed materials and have had publications on the subject matter of the reviewed article over the past 3 years. Reviews are stored at the publisher and the editorial board of the publication for 5 years.

The editorial board sends the authors of the submitted materials a reasoned decision based on the results of the review, and also undertakes to send copies of the reviews to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation upon receipt of a corresponding request by the editorial board of the publication. The editors do not enter into discussions with authors regarding the decision to refuse to accept material for publication.

Materials submitted to the journal undergo an initial selection for compliance with:

• general content requirements;
• requirements for text formatting and bibliographic references;
• declared scientific areas of the publication (philosophy, sociology, law);
• are checked by the Antiplagiat system (texts with at least 75% novelty are accepted for publication).

If the initial selection is passed, the articles are sent for mandatory double-blind review. The review period is from 1 to 3 months.

The editors assume responsibility for preparing the article for publication, checking it by the Antiplagiat system, and ensuring conscientious review.

The decision to publish or reject materials submitted to the journal is made by the editorial board in accordance with the review regulations. The editorial board does not accept for publication materials containing less than 70% of the original text, not corresponding to the general thematic focus, contributing to the strengthening of interethnic and interfaith strife, having a confrontational nature and inciting the deharmonization of social relations, blurring of ethical boundaries, including the admissibility of violence and cruelty. When receiving articles of this kind, the editorial board reserves the right to refuse to accept materials. Manuscripts rejected by the editors due to non-compliance with the requirements for design are not reviewed.
