Objectives
1) Accumulating knowledge about Russian legal scholarship, its historical development, and contemporary issues in the context of intellectual dialogue with foreign concepts of law and state.
2) Scientific interpretation of traditional spiritual and moral values as the moral foundation for the formation and development of the legal system of Russia—a state-civilization in the era of the spread of postmodern legal philosophy.
3) Inviting researchers from friendly countries to present and discuss theories, approaches, methodologies, and techniques for analyzing state and legal phenomena in order to develop and strengthen scientific traditions, in the selection of general research topics, the interpretation of key concepts and terms in legal science, and methodological and methodological techniques and methods for studying state and legal reality.
4) Establishing a center for research on fundamental issues of state justice based on the journal.
Articles on scientific specialties in the field of scientific knowledge known as "Social Sciences and Humanities" are accepted for consideration, in accordance with the Nomenclature of Scientific Specialties of the Higher Attestation Commission, for which academic degrees are awarded in a group of scientific specialties. Target Audience: Legal specialists, judges and other judicial practitioners, employees of legislative and executive bodies, doctoral and postgraduate students, master's students, undergraduates, and anyone interested in fundamental theoretical and practical issues of legal science and justice.
Publication Types: Original articles, translations of original articles from foreign languages, subject reviews of articles published in domestic and international journals, essays on legal topics, reviews of monographs
Peer Review Process
The journal "Pravosudie/Justice" is a peer-reviewed scientific publication. The editors recognize peer review of scientific materials as the foundation of the publication process. The review format is free-form: there is no established review template or set of questions for reviewers to answer. Reviewing is carried out in accordance with the principles of scientific integrity, personal responsibility, professionalism, efficiency (a quick response to the author is possible), objectivity, gratuity, and anonymity of reviewers. A second review may occur due to critical comments requiring revision of the manuscript. Typically, one round is required. Clear priorities for articles with positive reviews (for example, for editorial board members) have not been established. The review period is 20 days. |
