Semantic-stylistic adaptation of the newest foreign lexis (on the material of mass-media)

Abstract

The article highlights the reasons and peculiarities of the process of borrowing American linguoculture samples, the ways of adaptation of lexical units in Russian linguistic environment. In the article the peculiarities of functioning of foreign words on the initial stage of entering the system of the Russian language are described.
