Abstract
Research methods and organization. An online survey was conducted among students in grades 5-11 who had been diagnosed with foot deformities in the form of flatfoot, as well as among students in grades 5-11 who had not received such a diagnosis. To assess the levels of development of physical qualities (PQ), respondents evaluated their level of strength, speed, endurance, flexibility, and coordination on three levels: low, medium, high, as well as their overall level of physical fitness (PF).
Research results and conclusions. It has been established that students with flatfoot more frequently exhibited a low level of development in all assessed physical qualities, as well as physical fitness, compared to students with a normal foot arch. The obtained data can be utilized by physical education teachers to justify a differentiated approach to organizing physical education aimed at developing physical qualities in middle and high school students, taking into account the condition of their feet.
