CLINICAL AND IMMUNOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF THE EFFECT OF USING MILIACIL AND EHF-THERAPY IN THE TREATMENT OF PURULENT WOUNDS IN PATIENTS WITH DIABETES

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the eff ectiveness of purulent wounds treatment with the local combined use of Miliacile and EHF-therapy in patients with diabetes mellitus, based on determining the cytokine content. In 35 patients of the main group, Miliacile and EHF therapy were used in the local treatment of wounds, while in 35 patients of the control group, only Miliacile was used and the levels of TNFα, IFNγ, IL-4, IL-10 were determined in the blood serum of these patients upon admission to hospital, on the 7th day and at the end of treatment. As a result of treatment, there was observed a more pronounced increase in the level of cytokines (IFNγ, IL-4) and their decrease (IL-10, TNFα) in the patients of the main group as compared with patients of the control group. The eff ectiveness of purulent wounds treatment in patients with diabetes mellitus with the local use of Miliacile and EHF-therapy based on the determination of cytokine levels was determined.
