Abstract
The conditions of the efficient application of ultrasonic parametric resonance in the method of pseudo-liquid membranes have been formulated. The instability increment and the threshold ultrasound amplitude above which aperiodic instability develops in a liquid column in the case when the external resonance effect frequency is close to the corresponding parameter of natural liquid oscillations have been found. The velocity of the cross-section-averaged flow of liquid cuts transported without contact as a result of parametric interactions between waves has been calculated. An estimate has been made for the characteristic size of drops into which the cuts fed into the system are split by resonance generated flows.
