Abstract
The concept of active input portion is considered in vigorous bubbling mode on mass transfer plates of the cross flow. Using active site parameters and the Landau–Levich model of the diffusion boundary layer, equations are obtained and the algorithm is given for calculating the coefficients of mass transfer in liquid and gas phases in multicomponent distillation of mixtures with close thermophysical properties. The results of calculating the mass transfer and mass transport coefficients are compared with the experimental data of various authors. Their satisfactory agreement is established.
