Abstract
Behavior of climbing perch Anabas testudineus in water flow exposed to 0.05% solution of thiourea for 20 days is investigated. Exposure to thiourea modifies the ratio of specimens having different types of rheoreaction (positive, negative, compensatory) and decreases the number of jumps made by fishes in the hydrodynamic installation, indicating to their decreased activity. Starvation stimulates the climbing perch to make jumps.
