Registration and login are required for submitting items online, and for checking the status of current submissions.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with each of the following items, and submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines may be returned to the authors.
- References must include only those sources which are mentioned in the article. Sources must be arranged not in alphabetical order, but in the order of the course of references in the text of the article. References numbers in this case— [1], [2], [3] etc., not [2], [3], [1] etc. Authors are responsible for the correctness and accuracy of references. The references must contain at least 5-10 sources. If a source from the References has a doi, it must be specified. You can find the doi on the main page of the site https://www.crossref.org/, where the full source must be entered in the Search Metadata tab. If the article has a doi, it will be found in the search. If the source is not on the site https://www.crossref.org/, it can be located on the site https://search.datacite.org/, where you should use the search string in the same way.
Rules for links to electronic resources on the Internet:
All links to electronic resources must be designed according to the appropriate rules. Simple copying of the URL page to the list of bibliographic sources is not allowed. Such papers are not accepted. When making a bibliographic reference to an electronic resource, as well as when making a regular reference to a literary source, it’s must be specified the title of the paper and the author, if it is specified. It is allowed to link the paper and the website (e.g., online database of pathogens, sites, organizations, etc.), in this case, it’s must be specified the name of the site. Next, it’s must be must specified the “Web resource” and the page URL in square brackets. It’s must be must specified the date when the page was accessed. If an article from a paper collection is published on another site, it is always better to specify a link to the article in the collection, rather than to an electronic resource. The only exceptions are collections or journals that are initially published online and do not have a printed version. Example of a link to a web resource:

- At the end of the article it is necessary to specify the surname, name, patronymic of each author in full, his/her academic degree, position, full name of the institution, organization, enterprise, contact phone number, e-mail address.
- For articles written in Russian:
The English part of the article must include:
– English translation of the article title;
– full translation into English the information specified in item 14, abstract and keywords.
For articles written in English:

A review in Russian or in English must be attached to an article, as well as scanned electronic copy of the accompanying letter from the scientific institution where the author works or conducts research, written on a standard form and signed by the head of the institution. In this letter must be guaranteed the originality of the data provided and that the article is published for the first time.
Copyright Notice
A. Copyright From the date of entry into force of this Agreement, the Author (and each co-author) transfers to the Publisher, for the duration of the copyright, all exclusive rights to the Materials, including the rights to translate, reproduce, republish (license), transfer, distribute, or otherwise use the Materials or parts (fragments) contained therein for publication worldwide. to the world in English in scientific, educational, technical or professional journals or other periodicals and derivative works; in printed and electronic versions of such journals, periodicals, and derivative works in all media and formats that currently exist and that may arise in the future, as well as the right to grant licenses (or permits) to third parties to use Materials for publication everywhere in such journals, periodicals, and compilation works. Reproduction, placement, transmission or other distribution or use of the Materials or any separate part (fragment) of the Material contained therein, in any way permitted by this Agreement, must be accompanied by a link to the Journal and a mention of the Publisher, namely: (title of the article, name of the Author (co-authors), title of the Journal, volume/number, copyright of the Publisher LLC "KARTO i OV" or another copyright holder indicated in the Journal, the year of the first publication). The transfer of rights under this Agreement includes the right to process the form of presentation of Materials for use in interaction with computer programs and systems (databases), reproduction, publication and distribution in machine-readable format and implementation in search systems (databases). c. Retained rights The Author (co-authors) or the Employer of the Author (co-authors) The owner of the Materials retains all rights (with the exception of the rights transferred to the Publisher under this Agreement) of the owner of the Materials, including patent rights to any processes, methods or methods, etc., described by the Author (co-authors) in the Materials, as well as trademark rights. c. Other rights of the Author (co-authors) Materials The Publisher authorizes the Author (co-authors) of the Materials (employer) the following: 1. The right to use printed or electronic preprints of unpublished Materials in the form and content accepted by the Publisher for publication in the Journal. Such preprints can be posted as electronic files on the website of the Author (co-authors) or on a secure external website of the employer of the Author (co-authors) Materials, but not for commercial sales or systematic external distribution by a third party. In this case, the Author must: - include the following warning in the preprint: "This is a preprint of Materials accepted for publication in (Journal name, (C), copyright (year), copyright owner specified in the Journal)"; - provide an electronic link to the Publisher's websites with URLs http://potatoveg.ru 2. The right to photocopy or transfer to colleagues, free of charge, a copy of the printed article in whole or in part for their personal or professional use, to promote academic or scientific research, or for the information purposes of the employer in accordance with Paragraph D.2 below. 3. The right to use Materials from a published article in a book written by the Author (co-authors). 4. The right to use individual figures or tables and text excerpts from Materials for personal learning purposes or to include them in other work published (in printed or electronic format) by a third party, or to submit them electronically on an internal computer network or on an external website of the Author (co-authors) or his employer. 5. The right to include Materials in educational collections for use in the classroom, for free distribution of Materials to students of the Author (co-authors), or to save Materials in electronic format on a local server for students to access as part of the course of study, as well as for internal training programs at the employer's institution. d. Materials owned by the Employer 1. If the Materials were prepared in order to fulfill an official assignment, and they are the property of the Employer, the Author (co-authors) must receive (in addition to his signature) the signature of the Employer in Appendix No. 1 to this Agreement. By this Agreement, the Employer transfers to the Publisher all copyrights for the use of the Materials as specified in paragraph "A" on the terms provided for in this Agreement. 2. In addition to the rights indicated in paragraph "B" and the rights transferred to the Author (co-authors) in accordance with paragraph "C", the Publisher hereby grants such Employer, free of charge, the right to make copies and distribute printed Materials inside the institution in printed or electronic form on the Employer's local server for non-commercial use. The Employer's posting of published Materials on a publicly accessible server can only be done with the written consent of the Publisher and upon making all necessary payments. e. Copyright Warning Author/The Employer agrees that each copy of the Materials or any part thereof distributed or posted by them in printed or electronic format, as permitted by this Agreement, will contain an indication of the copyright provided for in the Journal and a full link to the Publisher's Journal. F. Author's Guarantees The author (co-authors) guarantees that the Materials are original work, submitted for review only to this Journal and have not been previously published. If the Materials were written jointly with the co-authors, the Author guarantees that he has informed them about the terms of this Agreement and received their signatures or written permission to sign on their behalf. (If the Materials include excerpts from works or contain references to copyrighted works owned by a third party, the Author must obtain written permission from the copyright holders for all uses and link to the original source). The author also guarantees that the Materials do not contain defamatory statements and do not infringe on the rights (including without limitation copyright, or patent or trademark rights) of others and do not contain materials or instructions that may cause harm or damage to third parties and their publication will not lead to the disclosure of secret or confidential information (including state secret). G. Obligations and guarantees of the Publisher The Publisher undertakes to publish the Materials within the time limits set by the Publisher and to provide the Author (co-authors), upon request, with an electronic print of the Materials after their publication, provided that the Publisher is provided with an e-mail address. The Publisher guarantees the international standard of printing works, the distribution of Materials worldwide in accordance with orders received, the protection of copyrights from illegal use by third parties and the observance of the personal non-property rights of the Author (co-authors) Materials. H. Entry into force of the Treaty This Agreement shall enter into force if and from the moment the Editorial Board of the Journal makes a decision to accept Materials for publication and is valid for the period provided for in paragraph 1 of paragraph A. If the Materials are not accepted for publication or the Author(s) withdrew the work prior to "publication", this Agreement shall not enter into (expire) the power. The Parties have agreed that, in accordance with the current legislation, they allow and recognize the reproduction of the text of this Agreement and the signatures of the Parties on this Agreement and other necessary and mandatory documents thereto (mentioned in this Agreement) by using mechanical, electronic or other means of copying the handwritten signature and the text of the Agreement, which will have the same force, as a genuine signature of the Party or an original document. Facsimile (electronic) copies of documents are valid and have equal legal force along with the original ones.
Privacy Statement
The editorial staff maintains confidentiality of incoming materials and does not disclose them to anyone other than those who are directly involved in the process of their expert examination and preparation for publication: members of the editorial staff, editorial board (if there are specialists in this field within it), authors, reviewers (including potential), and expert consultants.
