4. Technical requirements for articles

Margins: all margins are 20 mm each.

Figures, graphs and tables: in the text
Figures and graphs containing gray fillings should be replaced with shading or black/white fillings. Scanned figures are not allowed. It is necessary to insert not the diagrams themselves, but their screenshots or images created with the help of graphic editors. MS Visio (diagram and flowchart editor) is specially designed for creating diagrams.
Each figure should have a caption (under the figure), which gives an explanation of all its elements.
Tables should contain only necessary data and represent generalized and statistically processed materials. Each table is provided with a title and inserted into the text after the paragraph with the first reference to it.
Abbreviations and symbols are allowed only those accepted in the International System of Units for the abbreviation of measures, physical, chemical and mathematical quantities and terms.
Footnotes are in-text footnotes, e.g.: [10, p. 21], [10; 12], [10, p. 32; 14, p. 23].
The article must necessarily contain:
Block 1 - in Russian: UDC; title of the article; initials and surname of the author(s); abstract (summary); key words;
Block 2 - information of Block 1 in the same sequence:

- authors in Latin;
- abstract, keywords - in English;
Block 3 - full text of the article in Russian or English;
Block 4 - the list of literature with sources in the original language (title "List of literature");
Block 5 - list of literature in the Roman alphabet (title "References").
Block 6 - data on authors: surname, first name, patronymic in full; academic degree; academic title; position; address data of the author(s) (organization(s), address of the organization(s), e-mail of all authors).
Block 7 - information of Block 6 in the same sequence: - authors in Latin; - academic degree, academic title, position, organization name, organization address - in English; e-mail of all authors, it is desirable to indicate SPIN-code of authors in RSCI, ORCID, ResearcherID, Scopus Author ID, author's profile in the form of URL in Academia.edu and ResearchGate.
5. Structure and content of articles
- The title of the article should briefly, but as accurately as possible reflect the issue at hand. Avoid unspecific titles such as "On the question of ...", remember that the titles of all articles in each issue are reproduced in the international reference system for periodicals and continuing publications "Ulrich's Periodicals directory" in order to inform the world scientific community, and the words appearing in the title are used as keywords in various information systems. A clear and accurate title is the most important way to attract the attention of a wide range of scientists to your work. The recommended length of the title is no more than seven words (not including prepositions and conjunctions).
- An extended structured abstract in two languages: Russian and English, followed by 5-8 key words with a semicolon; without a semicolon at the end, should be submitted to the journal. The volume of the abstract: from 150 to 250 words (not characters). The abstract should repeat the structure of the article (Background, Purpose, Materials and Methods, Results).
- The text of the article should be carefully proofread, clear and concise.
Rubricization of the text is a necessary element of all articles, except for short reviews and informative communications. The more clearly your text is organized, the more likely it is that your ideas will be adequately understood by your readers. The editorial board welcomes the traditional division of the text into sections Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion, but accepts other structure according to the specifics of a particular article, provided that the volume is limited and the sections are clearly named.
6. Formatting of the list of references
At the end of the article is placed the List of References in Russian, arranged in accordance with GOST R 7.05-2008.
The list of references should contain bibliographic information about all publications mentioned in the article, and should not contain references to works that are not referenced in the text. The list of references is made in alphabetical order - first domestic, then foreign authors. Bibliographic references in the text of the article should be given in square brackets in accordance with the numbering in the reference list. If the reference is given to a specific fragment of the text of the document, the serial number and pages are indicated in the reference. Information is separated by a comma. For example, [10, p. 81].
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO USE FOOTNOTE REFERENCES TO CITE SOURCES
If there is a DOI, it must be indicated. If the source has no DOI, but it is available on the Internet in open or closed access (for example, an article in the journal archive), then the full URL to the cited source on the journal's website should be indicated.
The name of the city is indicated in full in all cases (including: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don).
Literature in a foreign language should include at least 5 titles. The total list of literature should include at least 15 titles.
Self-citations are allowed if they are justified and in the amount of no more than 10% of the reference list.
The editorial board also does not accept all methods of "tweaking" citations of colleagues and co-authors of the author if they are unjustified for the article.
Also attached to the article is a list of references - References.
The order corresponds to the order of numbering in the List of References.
Separating signs ("//" and "-") are not used in bibliographic records (References). The separating sign "//" is replaced by "dot".
In References, the names of the reference list are simply translated into English (do not forget about the specificity of translating T.[om] as Vol., Vyp.[usk] as Is., № as No., с. as p., interval C. as pp.), except for the names of journals (indicated in italics) - for them, the Russian-language title is given in transliteration, and the translation into English is given in square brackets in regular font
Names of sources (the very titles of books, journals, collections, and NOT their titles of chapters, articles) are italicized.

Bibliographic reference structure in the Reference list
Books:
The most basic entry for a book consists of the author's name, the title of the book, publisher city, publisher name, and the year of publication.
Last Name, First Name. Title of Book. Publisher City: Publisher Name, Year Published, Page Numbers.
E.g.:
Brown, Dan. The DaVinci Code. New York: Scholastic, 2004, pp. 45-49.
Journals, digests:
The most basic entry for a magazine consists of the author name(s), article title, and magazine name.
Last Name, First Name. Article Title. Journal Name, Year Published, Volume Number, Issue Number, Page Numbers.
Online sources, registered in international DOI system, should be cited similar to printed sources with indication of its DOI without a point after it. In this case URL is not included because DOI enables precise object identification in databases, unlike with URL which can be changed.
