Аннотация
Цель исследования: анализ особенностей советской эмиграции и репатриации1 периода 1960-1970-х гг., когда впервые после длительного исторического перерыва и в результате политических договоренностей между СССР и США сотни тысяч советских евреев получили возможность навсегда покинуть Советский Союз и поселиться в США и Израиле. Авторское внимание сосредоточено главным образом на особенностях освещения этих вопросов в ведущих американских печатных СМИ. Выводы: обращение к медиа как основному эмпирическому источнику данного исследования позволяет увидеть особенности политического «лица» американской прессы того времени. Данное исследование позволяет расширить традиционные рамки познания эмиграции на фоне ее общеисторического и культурного развития в XX в.
