Abstract

The data on oxidation of iron(II) in aqueous medium using a novel device based on disc disperser are presented. The rate constants and half-time of the oxidation reaction Fe(II)-Fe(III) have been determined. The oxidation of iron(II) in water has followed the first-order rate equation. The change in water quality depending on the conditions of iron(II) oxidation has been investigated.
