Abstract
Mass transfer from a planar surface of a CuSO4 · 5H2O crystal dissolving in water under the action of harmonic vibration in the frequency range from 40 to 100 Kz at amplitudes of 0.1–1 mm has been investigated experimentally. The vibration markedly increases the mass transfer rate. The parameters having the strongest effect on the process have been found and correlated.
